01 Project Start

Starting the Website

I started creating my website using HTML and CSS. I began by creating the basic structure of the website and setting up the different pages.

What I worked on

  • Created the basic HTML structure.
  • Created the CSS stylesheet.
  • Started creating multiple pages.

What I learned

I learned more about how HTML pages are structured and how CSS can be used to control their appearance.

02 Website Design

Designing the Website

I worked on improving the appearance of the website. I experimented with colours, layouts, backgrounds and different types of sections.

What I changed

  • Added a dark blue and purple colour scheme.
  • Created card-based sections.
  • Added hover effects.
  • Improved spacing and positioning.

Problems

Some elements were not positioned correctly, so I had to adjust the CSS to make the layout work better.

03 Navigation

Creating Navigation

I created a sidebar that can be opened and closed. This allows the website to have navigation without taking up space on the main page.

What I worked on

  • Created the sidebar.
  • Added a toggle button.
  • Added a Home button.
  • Adjusted the positioning using CSS.
04 Interactive Features

Adding Interactive Features

I began adding JavaScript to the website to make parts of it interactive rather than having the website only contain static information.

What I worked on

  • Added JavaScript functionality.
  • Created interactive page elements.
  • Added the Konami code Easter egg.
05 Add Your Date
